Sean O’Brien founded the Law Office of Sean F. O’Brien in November, 2014. Prior to opening his own firm Sean worked for both small and large real estate law firms in the Boston area. Since his admission to the Massachusetts bar in 2007, Sean’s primary practice areas have been real estate conveyancing, buyer / seller / lender representation, real estate litigation, foreclosure practice, REO transactions, title examination, and title issue resolution. Having worked in the field of real estate law since 2000, he worked first as a law clerk and then as manager of a successful title examination firm while attending law school at night. Having had the opportunity to represent both large institutions that are involved in real estate transactions daily, as well as individuals who may be making the one real estate purchase of their lifetime, he’s acquired the experience necessary to see transactions from both perspectives and knows how to tailor his legal advice accordingly. Whether the transaction is large or small, he enjoys working with clients towards achieving their goals in terms of real estate acquisition, development, or financing. He always enjoy speaking to potential clients, whether they are at the early exploratory stages of the process or are ready to move forward immediately. A resident of Melrose, Massachusetts and graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston and Massachusetts School of Law, he has been admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 2007 and in the State of New Hampshire since 2009.
